Meet the Characters

Ellie is the star of the show! 

Sometimes shy but always fun and friendly, Ellie has a big heart and lots of friends, but sometimes lacks the confidence to try new things. With the support of her friends and a healthy dose of self-belief, she's able to tackle any challenges that come her way. 

Patrick is the ultimate cheerleader. Always encouraging Ellie to step out of her comfort zone, from signing Ellie up for gymnastics to conquering the monkey bars, Patrick is always there by Ellie's side, even when things get tough. He shows Ellie the power of perseverance, believing in herself, and never giving up. 

Tristan is one of those wonderfully supportive friends, always helping to build Ellie's confidence. While Ellie can't always jump as high as Tristan, or run as fast, Tristan is always there to cheer on his friend, encouraging her to always keep trying. 

Gertrude is the teacher we all want! Welcoming, supportive, and inspiring, she helps to soothe Ellie's fears when she joins her gymnastics class for the first time, and encourages her to try her best and importantly, to have fun!

Freddie is one of Ellie's close friends, always supporting her. In 'Ellie the Crocodile and the Green, Sparkly Glasses', Freddie is the one who encourages her to be brave and get her eyes tested - leading to great things for young Ellie! 

Gerald is another of Ellie's great friends. He makes an appearance at the end of 'Ellie the Crocodile and the Green, Sparkly Glasses', giving Ellie lots of lovely encouragement about her new glasses. 

Oliver is Ellie's optician - checking her eyes for her when she is worried about her blurred vision. With a big smile, and lots of kind, encouraging words, Oliver makes Ellie's first trip to the opticians a very positive experience.
